If you are running into issues with plugging in your headphone jack and there's no sound from the headphones but the laptop is recognising that something was plugged in, turn it off and use a needle to hold the battery reset button on the bottom left of the laptop for about 30 seconds. I had the same issue that after updating no matter what I did headphones aren't recognized. used to work fine all the time now nahimic doesnt show up to choose input nor does it work with nahimic uninstalled and the realtek driver reinstalled both to the latest versions.
